A first for Bali, set to become Number 1 in Bali.

Some "dreamers" / purists have made sure Agung Bali Nirwana breaks all the molds when it comes to accommodations / how it is done in Bali.

If you have been to this tropical island, you may recall high expectations of a true, tropical, cultural paradise. Only to find mass tourism, often at it's worse. If you have stayed at 5 star hotels around the world including Bali, you may have suffered some terrible disappointment with the later. Perhaps due to the hotel business here being dominated by tour operators, and their need to often pinch pennies. If you have ever had some romantic notion of sleeping in a beachfront room in Bali, you may have suffered some rapid emotional descent. As coastal roads and building regulations have made this a virtual impossibility. Finally, if you have an environmental conscience and traveled around Bali, you may well have been horrified down to your recycled cotton socks. With the "throw-away" culture rampant, where rice terrace vistas once ruled.

It is sort of strange therefore, that the World Summit on Sustainable Development was held in Bali recently. As many hold this island as one of the worst examples to date.

But it is not all that way. There are still areas of Bali that live up to the images of almost forgotten dreams, such as in "South Pacific". Where the pressure of mass tourism and global squander have not yet made their mark. And there are still people who have invested more than money seeking to make a worthy return.

Villas Agung Bali Nirwana is the creation of a romantic traveler, not a hotelier after quick return. Or visitor turned unfortunate / uneducated private holiday villa builder (many build only to find there are no permits available for their area!). Because of our policies, we were allowed to build right on one of the very best stretches of beach in Bali.

With no chemicals, no MSG, no artificial this or that, banned in other parts of the world. Yet with comfort and furnishings above any of the big name luxury resorts. Agung Bali Nirwana will be the name of tomorrow. We just hope you can help make it's name first heard today.
